Jewel Basin
Last week we took a short trip to the northeastern shore of Flathead Lake, did a little camping at a state park, and hiked a bit in the Jewel Basin. For those of you who might not know, the Jewel Basin is a wilderness area located in, or real close to, the Bob Marshal Wilderness and is designated just for hiking. There's something like 25 lakes and over 35 miles of trails...............Most of them (as Cindy will gladly tell you) either uphill or downhill. We did take a few pictures...................
